Help us improve access to the White River in 2026!

We are lucky to have the White River flowing through the heart of our communities. But the river needs our help to stay clean and accessible!

Every year, the WRP engages community members and students in our work to improve the long-term health of the White River by:

• Gathering water samples at swimming holes;
• Improving river access at White River Water Trail sites;
• Removing tires and trash from in and along the river;
• Monitoring river health through hands-on education programs;
• and more!

We couldn’t do this work without YOU: your support helps us engage 2,000 community members and students each year through our Stewardship and Education programs. These impactful programs cost:

• $19.25 to remove 1 pound of trash from the river;
• $38.50 to steward river access at a White River Water Trail site;
• $57.75 to gather 1 water sample at a swimming hole;
• $77.00 to engage 1 student in hands-on monitoring at the river;
• $192.50 to steward a White River Water Trail site each summer;
• $346.50 to gather water samples at a swimming hole each season; and
• $924.00 to coordinate 1 river-based education program for 1 class.

Thanks to a generous group of donors, any donation received before the end of 2025 will be matched up to $15,000. This means your donation will be doubled!
